👋 Hello, I’m Alexander Silva (Alec)

I’m a Cybersecurity Specialist with a strong focus on Cloud Security, working with Fortinet, AWS, GCP, Azure, SIEM, SASE, and ZTNA solutions. My work revolves around securing cloud environments, designing robust network architectures, ensuring compliance with security best practices and test the latest technologies coming out.

🛠️ Tech & Projects

Cybersecurity & Cloud: I deploy and manage Fortinet services, secure cloud infrastructures, and optimize network security.
Machine Learning & Automation: I’m currently working on AI-driven pest control optimization in banana production and computer vision for waste classification.
Development: Building FastAPI backends, integrating React frontends, and using MongoDB Atlas for scalable databases.

Alec blog – My blog where I share cybersecurity insights, workbooks for CTFs, and technical guides.
AI-Powered Object Detection – A real-time Roboflow-based detection system using FastAPI and inference.js.
Form Inspection System – A web app for agricultural inspection, storing data and images in MongoDB.

📚 Learning
